Paddling through Geology on the Namekagon

Master Naturalist Advanced Training

Join Northland College geology professor Tom Fitz for a paddle through time. He'll explain the geologic origins of the Namekagon River, as well as active fluvial features. Participants must provide their own canoe or kayak and shuttle.

Meet at the Cable Wayside Landing at 10 am ready to go. Finish by 3 pm at The Thompson Bridge Landing.

You don't have to be a certified Master Naturalist to participate!

Any adult learners are welcome. Space is limited.

Register by June 14th.
