Join us for the concert by Chicago Blues Hall of Fame, Australian born musician Michael Charles and His Band as they take you through forty years and forty releases of music.

His concerts overflow with precise, energetic, intense, original, and guitar driven contemporary blues, blues based rock, and soulful ballads of Michael Charles.

In 1989, Michael Charles received a life changing invitation from Mr. Buddy Guy’s management to appear at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago. He traveled the 12,500 miles from his home in Australia to perform with Mr. Guy, Junior Wells, James Cotton, Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater and many more of the blues greats in Chicago. After returning to Australia, Charles decided to make his career in America.

Not too long after coming to the US, an opportunity quickly presented itself and Charles accepted the honor of joining up with legendary “Fast Fingers,” Jimmy Dawkins, and toured the country for two years.

Some thirty years later, his roots are firmly in the US. Charles' career comprises a catalogue of forty releases, his Chicago Blues Hall of Fame induction, ten times Grammy elected and the recognition of being one of America’s most driven artists as he continues to record and annually tours non-stop across the USA and Canada, delivering at each stop an unprecedented, satisfying concert of uniquely original, guitar driven, contemporary blues.
