Gourmet Mushrooms of Wisconsin: How to Find, Cook, and Enjoy the Best Mushrooms on Earth

Join Arne Martinson, Vice President of the Wisconsin Mycological Society, for a mushroom foray and cooking demonstration featuring some of Wisconsin’s best mushrooms. Participants will get a chance to collect their own edible mushrooms in the field, then we will learn how to prepare and have a taste of gourmet mushroom dishes. We will meet just outside Cable at 12:30 p.m. to foray and then move to the Wake Robin Pavilion to cook, finishing by 4 p.m. Meeting location will be provided prior to class. All skill levels are welcome. Space is limited. Register by September 23.  Cost includes cooking ingredients and is $35 member/$40 non-member.
