Master Naturalist Advanced Training

Join Northland College geology professor Tom Fitz to explore some of the oldest and most intriguing rocks in the world near Ely, Minnesota, and tour the Soudan Underground Mine. Naturalist Emily Stone will add ecological context. Meet in Ely, MN Sunday evening finish up by 3 pm on Wednesday. Food and lodging provided at a Wilderness Field Station with lake access and a sauna!

Be prepared for walking over uneven terrain.

Basic canoe paddling ability required. You don't have to be a certified Mater Naturalist to participate!

Any Adult learners are welcome. Space is limited.

Register by July 22nd.
