Basic Mushroom Identification

 Join Arne Martinson, Vice President of the Wisconsin Mycological Society, for a lesson on mushroom identification. We will cover methods such as observing physical characteristics, spore prints, using a mushroom guide, and observing environmental cues. All skill levels and ages are welcome. Be prepared for walking over uneven terrain. Meet near Cable at 12:30 and finish by 5 p.m. Meeting location will be provided prior to class. Space is limited. Register by September 2. $30 member/$35 non-member.
