2025 FISHING CONTEST RULES
Four Seasons Resort, Cable WI

Saturday January 25th, 2025Fish eligible for the ice fishing contest must be caught from Lake Namakagon (including Garden and Jackson), during contest hours of 12:01am and 4pm on Saturday, January 25th, 2025.

Fish Measuring will take place from 7am to 4pm at Four Seasons

You must register at Four Seasons prior to fishing. 

Registration is now available.

Contestants must be done fishing, fish registered and BACK TOO Four Seasons by 4pm.Registration fee of $20 per person

Prizes awarded for the top three in each category

Fish categories include: Walleye, Northern, and Pan Fish (including Perch & Crappie).

NEW for 2025: Maximum # of Blue Gill/Crappie/Perch per person registered is 5Catch, register and release is highly encouraged!

Fish will be numbered as registered, there will be a “lucky fish” as well. The more fish you register, the more chances of winning the lucky fish.

Winning fish will be determined by length to the nearest 1/8th inch. 

In the event of a tie, the first fish registered will take priority

All fish and contestants must meet DNR requirements

Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions and property at all times.
Any tampering with length of fish will automatically disqualify anglers from the contest.

The decision of the judge is final.

Contestants are responsible for verification of length of fish at time of measuring.

All fishing regulations for Bayfield County, Lake Namakagon and the State of Wisconsin will be abided by. 

Any fish illegally caught will be disqualified.

There will be a leader board located in the registration area. 

All efforts will be made to keep the board up to date and accurate.

No refunds will be given out for any reason.

All drawing winners need not be present to win.
